On June 2nd, we had an amazing Super Sunday in Auburn, capturing memories that we will cherish forever. Our friends from Australia, China, Korea, Kenya, Iran, Panama, and Colombia gathered together for a fun-filled day.
With “Professor” Andrew and Diana Garcia, we enjoyed activities that helped us learn English and practice our speaking and listening skills. Eddi gave an interesting talk about fun foods and shared tips on how to enjoy our daily experiences in Australia. We even had an exciting remote control car race!
There was plenty of coffee and chocolate cookies to keep us energized. We ended the day with a delicious Mexican dinner, featuring tacos and quesadillas lovingly prepared by Erika, Dani, Gise, Guillermo, Diana, Luis, MJ, and Maneji.
To conclude our event, Pastor Robyn Song led a special prayer time, helping us release stress, fears, and the sadness that often comes with the challenges of migrating to a new country.
We are grateful to all our members for their love and patience in teaching us, and we thank all the friends who attended—whether for the first time, as repeat visitors, or as regular members. If you are looking for a friendly community, we invite you to join us.
We meet every Thursday for our English Circle at Swinburne University, TD Building, from 2 to 4 PM. On Sundays, we gather at 597 Burwood Road, Hawthorn VIC 3122, starting at 3 PM for coffee, English practice, and friendly activities. At 5 PM, those seeking love, faith, and hope are welcome to join Pastor Robyn Song for a worship service dedicated to Jesus.
