If you are a migrant or international student in Melbourne, you should know that you’re not alone. This is a wonderful country, and in Melbourne, there are many lovely communities with spaces for connection, learning, and fellowship. Auburn Hub is one of those communities, led by love and a desire to serve.
Last Sunday, we shared many stories, light, and smiles. We learned when to write “Practice” or “Practise.” According to teacher Andrew, the difference is that when we use “practice” as a noun, it is spelled with a “C,” and when it is a verb, it is spelled with an “S.” Got it? We also see this in words like “realise” or “realize” and similar ones. We encourage you to find more words like this and apply the same rule. Stay tuned for the next post with more examples!
Continuing with our Sunday recap, David, another one of our native members, loves to share his stories and knowledge. This time, we learned from him that love always has new opportunities, and we celebrated his second engagement with Agne. We love and bless them both.
After that, we had a beautiful worship service led by Pastor Robyn Song with a powerful message titled “Why Jesus.” Supernatural things happen when there is faith and love! Would you dare to experience it?
These are our Sunday memories. Dare to experience AUBURN HUB!
Remember, we have an English Circle every Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Swinburne University for conversational English practice. And next Sunday, we’ll have our coffee gathering with new activities, coffee, cookies, and the same love as always!
