This September, we’ve had the joy of celebrating some very special moments in Auburn, one of the most significant being the birthday of our beloved leader and pastor, Robyn Song.
Originally from South Korea, Pastor Robyn moved to Australia with her family at a young age due to her father’s ministry work. Her deep love for God led her to pursue her ordination, and today, she serves as a pastor for two churches in Melbourne: Bentleigh Baptist Church and Auburn Baptist Church.
Pastor Robyn is not only a mother, pastor, and evangelist, but also a loving and dedicated leader in our community. She is deeply involved in both the planning and decision-making processes, and her active participation in all of our community activities makes her a cornerstone of our group. Every Thursday, she joins us at the English Circle at Swinburne University, and every Sunday at 5 PM, she leads our worship service with inspiring messages and a beautiful singing voice that lifts our spirits in praise.
She also enjoys playing table tennis, and her calm, measured way of speaking makes her English easy for everyone to understand – a blessing for our multicultural community.
While Pastor Robyn certainly deserves many gifts for her birthday, the truth is, she is a gift to all of us every single day. On behalf of the entire community, we wish her many more years of lighting up and blessing our church and our lives.
