Last weekend, we celebrated Mother’s Day with our dear pastor and leader, Robyn Song, also honoring Carol and Alejandra from Colombia, who have the privilege of being moms. We also want to congratulate the wives, moms, and sisters of each of our members, who deserve all our recognition for their beautiful work.
Our Thursday English circle and Sunday coffee meetings have been a great way to get to know each other and connect, but more importantly, to remind you that Australia is worth it because you are worth it. In AuburnHub, you not only have a place to practice English but also to build community and enjoy good times in a safe and friendly environment. This week at the coffee meeting, we recalled that to progress in our integration, every day we must learn something new in English, do something to improve our employment and economy, and do something to enjoy our adventure in Australia. We also learned three new and fundamental phases to achieve our goals: Self-discipline, roller coaster (when we want to express the ups and downs of emotions), and you can do it. We shared the national translation hotline and recommended downloading ChatGPT, which with its current voice function, can be our best friend for practicing speaking English. Thank you all for opening your hearts to us! Members, collaborators, and guests, you are all welcome. Remember, we have activities for everyone: Thursdays from 2 to 4 PM, we have conversational English practice at Swinburne University. On Sundays, starting at 3 PM, we have our coffee meeting at the church, where besides practicing English, we share tips and recommendations for daily life in Australia. If you’re looking to strengthen your Christian faith, our doors are open for our weekly worship service, every Sunday at 5 PM, with music, prayers, and a powerful message from Pastor Robyn Song.
